Project Trezza was projected by a group of people to study and then exploit the seabed near the coast of Lignano Sabbiadoro commonly known under the name Trezza. These are important marine sites consist of rocky outcrops and sand dunes in which order established extremely interesting and diverse ecosystems.
Our first goal is the enhancement of the marine ecosystem and in particular the protection and recovery of the seabed.
And so from September 3, 2008 we are pleased to host in Lignano Sabbiadoro exposure of the first phase of the project "TREZZA Adriatic, Study of some areas of special environmental value for the purposes of exploitation of fisheries resources local" initiative National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics of Trieste (OGS) in collaboration with ARPA FVG Miramare Marine Protected Area and Area with funding and support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Udine e Pordenone and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia.
But our project does not stop there. We want to take into account not only the environment, other important aspects that may gravitate to our idea: The
Education: raising awareness of the sea in our schools and beyond.
Tourism: Lignano promote a city as alert to the problems of the environment (eco-tourism).
underwater excursions.
fishing.
Last but not least, the restocking useful to the fishing industry.
These are our ideas, there is not much to do but you have to do it!
